Discover Your Swedish roots and have an experience of a lifetime

Meter Television is casting for season 14 of the reality TV series Allt för Sverige (known in the U.S. as The Great Swedish Adventure), where Americans with Swedish ancestry travel to Sweden to explore their heritage, traditions, and family history.

Between 1846 and 1930, approximately 1.3 million Swedes emigrated to America in search of a better life. Today, more than 4.8 million Americans can trace their heritage back to Sweden.

In Allt för Sverige, Americans with Swedish ancestry travel to Sweden to explore their cultural heritage. Participants experience Swedish traditions, discover their family history, and take part in challenges — with the ultimate prize of meeting their Swedish relatives.

Meter Television is now conducting a nationwide search for outgoing and adventurous Americans with Swedish ancestry — even the smallest connection counts — who have never visited Sweden and who are eager to discover their roots and experience their ancestral homeland.

The series will be filmed in Sweden in late spring 2026 and broadcast nationally. Travel and accommodation are provided during filming.
